Your Community College Solution

Make a transfer plan.

Transfer programs are designed to position you for a successful transfer to a four year college in order to complete a Bachelor’s Degree.  The earlier you identify your transfer institution, the easier it will be to align your Barton Community College program of study to the transfer institution’s requirements.  A successful transfer involves careful planning and takes time to develop.  Begin working on a transfer plan as early as your first course at Barton.

Determine which classes/degrees transfer to which schools.

If you plan to transfer, you’ll need to know which Barton degrees and classes, including basic or general education courses, transfer to the school of your choice. What transfers depends on your major and the school you’re transferring to.  For more information and Articulation Agreements refer to the Barton Home Transferability page and the Transfer Websites to four year Kansas schools.
